Brief and Challenges
Eco-friendly Solutions
Eco-consciousness guided our logistical decisions, including foot deliveries to reduce carbon footprint wherever possible. Managing the installation process along a public road required meticulous planning to ensure safety and minimal disruption to passers-by. We liaised closely with sustainable suppliers to source materials that met durability and anti-graffiti requirements outlined by the clients.
Media Approval
Adhering to WCC’s and Paddington Arts guidelines, we navigated the process of obtaining many approvals for the use of specific media formats, ensuring compliance at every stage.
The walls are outdoor with high foot traffic, which may result in complications with various media types due to graffiti and general wear and tear, we had to keep budget in mind when choosing the right anti-graffiti materials. To keep the installation seamless, we also colour matched the screws to the print.
In addition to the aforementioned challenges, the project required careful adherence to budgetary constraints, posing a significant challenge due to the time constraints and stringent media approval process. Despite these hurdles, the team successfully navigated the complexities of the project, ensuring both creative excellence and financial responsibility.
